So far, very happy switching from daemon_generator to *nix cron for a scheduling background tasks. Should have done this a while ago.

Just rewrote some automated rails code. No longer using daemon_generator and instead using rake tasks via cron. Hopefully more reliable.

My new preamp just came in today. Hopefully I can now plug my studio mic in directly to my Mac and get good quality sound.
